Crown aims to have a long-term positive impact on the lives of the communities we work with. These include colleagues, customers, individuals using the properties we improve and the communities where they reside.
We use our Social Value Policy to manage our activities and take actions to maximise the positive environmental, social and economic impacts and improve the resilience of our communities.

Supporting local charities and not for profit organisations with flooring and facilities maintenance services free of charge.
Employment opportunities for individuals in communities local to our customers – we offer training, support with NVQ qualifications and long-term careers with the aim of building sustainable teams delivering services within their own communities;
We offer a market leading apprenticeship programme for both young people leaving school and those looking to retrain;
We support local clubs and charities with events and sponsorship;
Focus on local supply chains, supporting local communities;
Participation in Social Regeneration schemes with organisations close to our regional offices such as Warrington Voluntary Action.
We are proud sponsors of Highfield Grange Storm U13s Girls Football team. Promoted to Section B in the Bolton & Bury District League for the 24/25 season, these girls are going from strength to strength.
Crown support the Action for Anti-Poverty Charity – The Brick – donating flooring to help improve the living conditions and create bright, clean and warm environments for those who find themselves needing to rebuild their lives.
Crown Flooring are delighted to have been involved in the recent DIYSOS project for BBC Children in Need helping Nightsafe, an amazing charity supporting young homeless people in the Blackburn area. The DIYSOS team have transformed a rundown church hall, originally built in the early 1800’s, into accommodation and a support centre for Nightsafe.
Crown Flooring fitting staff have been working round the clock to help deliver this wonderful project, from preparation works through to the fitting of LVT, sheet carpet and vinyl. We would also like to thank Gradus and Ardex for their generosity and support in donating materials at short notice.
